Just neighbors helping neighbors.
Our Story
What started as a commitment to serve 25 hot meals biweekly has grown into delivering over 100 hot meals every two weeks across Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and other Louisiana parishes. Alongside meals, we share clothes, shoes, daily essentials, and resources.
We began this mission because we answered a simple call: to go out and feed people, carry each other's burdens, and spread love to all. This movement is about so much more than food. It is building relationships, sharing conversations, and restoring dignity.
We give to all persons, regardless of who you are or what you have. From those walking the streets and local workers to cashiers and families in their homes, we meet people right where they are. Because at the end of the day, we are just neighbors taking care of neighbors.
Our Mission
Serving the Whole Person
Guided by God’s purpose, we believe in holistic care. While our nutritious hot meals remain the beating heart of our outreach, our vision extends much further. We focus on dignity, emotional restorement, and essential daily living.
We are actively working to expand our lifelines to provide accessible dining facilities, hot mobile showers, laundry services, and ongoing support systems for individuals and families experiencing hardship. Relief shouldn't be confined to static brick-and-mortar locations. We meet people exactly where they are. Where they sleep, gather, and seek comfort in open-air spaces.
Open to All, Without Exception
We believe that love, care, and community support know no boundaries. We proudly welcome, serve, and partner with all neighbors regardless of race, color, national origin, culture, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, or socioeconomic background. Everyone in our community deserves dignity, respect, and unconditional love.
